Agreeing to these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and HiveIQ LLC ("HiveIQ", "we", "us"). By using HiveIQ or hiveiq.ai you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use HiveIQ.
What HiveIQ does
HiveIQ is a relationship intelligence extension for Chrome. With your permission it reads email and calendar metadata from Gmail and Google Calendar, and details shown on LinkedIn pages you visit, and suggests which professional relationships deserve your attention and when. HiveIQ never reads the body of your emails.
Who can use HiveIQ
You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract. If you use HiveIQ for a company, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms for it.
Your account
Keep your login secure and tell us right away at support@hiveiq.ai if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for activity on your account.
Plans, trial and billing
- Individual: $59 per month, billed monthly, with a 14-day free trial.
- Founder: $49 per month by invitation, with that rate locked for your first 12 months.
If you do not cancel before your trial ends, your subscription starts and your card is charged. Subscriptions renew automatically each month until you cancel. You can cancel anytime and keep access until the end of the period you paid for. Payments are not refundable except where the law requires, or where we choose to refund.
We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email. A change never applies to a period you have already paid for, or to a locked Founder rate during its 12 months.
Acceptable use
Please do not:
- break the law or other people's rights while using HiveIQ;
- use HiveIQ to send spam or bulk outreach;
- copy, resell or reverse engineer HiveIQ;
- try to get around security or overload the service.
Contact details from data providers
HiveIQ fills in professional details about your contacts, such as job title, company, location and profile links, using a third-party data provider. You may use these details only inside HiveIQ, for your own professional relationships. You may not resell, share or sublicense them, copy them into another product or database, or use HiveIQ to offer them to others. You may not use them, or let anyone use them, to decide anyone's eligibility for credit, insurance, employment, housing or a government license or benefit; for background checks or debt collection; for any purpose covered by the Fair Credit Reporting Act; to train AI systems; or for anything unlawful, discriminatory or deceptive.
Your data
Your data stays yours. You give us permission to use it only to provide HiveIQ to you, with help from a small set of service providers described in our Privacy Policy. We never sell your data, and we never use it to train AI models.
Our intellectual property
HiveIQ's software, design, name and content belong to HiveIQ LLC. You may use HiveIQ under these terms, but they do not give you ownership of it.
Other services
HiveIQ works with services such as Google and LinkedIn at your direction. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for them.
Suggestions are guidance
HiveIQ's suggestions are based on patterns and can be wrong or incomplete. You decide whether and how to act on them.
No warranties
HiveIQ is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Limits on liability
To the extent the law allows, HiveIQ LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or lost profits. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.
Ending the agreement
You can stop using HiveIQ and cancel anytime. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms. When an account closes, we delete its data as described in our Privacy Policy.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in North Carolina.
Changes to these terms
If we make a material change, we will email you or post a notice on this site before it takes effect. Continuing to use HiveIQ after that means you accept the updated terms.
