AGREEMENT TO OUR LEGAL TERMS
We are HiveIQ LLC ("Company," "we," "us," "our"), a company registered in North Carolina, United States. We operate the website https://www.hiveiq.ai, as well as any other related products and services that refer or link to these legal terms (the "Legal Terms") (collectively, the "Services"). HiveIQ is a browser extension and software platform that helps professionals maintain meaningful connections by surfacing timely, relevant suggestions for when and how to reconnect with professional contacts.
OUR SERVICES
The information provided when using the Services is not intended for distribution to or use by any person or entity in any jurisdiction where such distribution would be contrary to law. The Services are not tailored to comply with industry-specific regulations like HIPAA or FISMA.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
We own or license all intellectual property in our Services, including source code, databases, software, and graphics (the "Content"), and trademarks (the "Marks"). You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access the Services for personal or internal business purposes.
USER REPRESENTATIONS
By using the Services, you represent that: All registration information is true and accurate. You have the legal capacity to comply with these terms. You are not a minor. You will not access the Services through automated or non-human means (bots, scripts).
PURCHASES AND PAYMENT
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Cash App Pay, and Amazon Pay through our payment processor, Stripe, Inc. All payments are in US dollars. Applicable taxes may be added based on your location as calculated by Stripe. You authorize recurring charges to your payment method for your subscription plan. If payment fails, we may retry the charge or suspend access until payment is received. We will notify you by email before any suspension.
SUBSCRIPTIONS AND FREE TRIAL
HiveIQ Founder: $49.00 USD per month. Available by invitation only. Founder rate is guaranteed for 12 months from the date of initial subscription. After 12 months, pricing may be adjusted with 30 days written notice.
HiveIQ Individual: $59.00 USD per month. Includes a 14-day free trial.
Billing: Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance and renew automatically unless canceled. Payment is charged on the same date each month.
Free Trial: The HiveIQ Individual plan includes a 14-day free trial. A valid credit or debit card is required to begin the trial. You will not be charged during the trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription and your payment method will be charged $59.00 USD. You may cancel at any time during the trial at no cost.
Cancellation and Refunds: You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Stripe customer portal or by contacting support@hiveiq.ai. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain access until the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. If you believe you have been charged in error, contact support@hiveiq.ai within 30 days of the charge.
Price Changes: We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with 30 days advance notice to active subscribers. Founder plan pricing is locked for 12 months from signup.
PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES
Users may not: Systematically retrieve data to create a database. Circumvent or interfere with security features. Engage in unauthorized framing or linking. Use any automated system (spiders, robots, scrapers) to access the Services. Reverse engineer or decompile the software.
AI-GENERATED CONTENT DISCLAIMER
HiveIQ uses AI to generate suggested messages. These are for informational purposes and do not constitute professional or legal advice. Users are responsible for reviewing and modifying content before sending.
NO GUARANTEE OF DAILY SUGGESTIONS
HiveIQ may not surface suggestions every day. The absence of suggestions is an intentional feature, not a system failure.
. GOVERNING LAW
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in North Carolina.
. ACCOUNT DELETION AND DATA
You may delete your account at any time from the Settings screen within the HiveIQ extension. Upon deletion, all personal data, contact records, behavioral data, and interaction history associated with your account will be permanently removed from our systems. This action is irreversible. Deletion does not entitle you to a refund for any remaining subscription period.
. PLATFORM REQUIREMENTS
The HiveIQ extension requires Google Chrome (desktop) and an active Google account for authentication. Certain features require access to Gmail and Google Calendar through Google's API Services. HiveIQ's use of Google API data complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. HiveIQ does not transmit email body content or attachments to any server.
. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law, HiveIQ LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
. INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless HiveIQ LLC from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Services or violation of these terms.
. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify users by email at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
